Orlando is a perfect spot for vacation homes. The great weather, Disney and the affordability of property makes Orlando a top pick for those looking for a second home. Vacation homes are typically furnished and the furniture can be included in the home purchase or it can be paid outside of the transaction as a side agreement.
- If the buyer is financing the property the furniture cannot be included in the transaction as it is personal property and not “real” property. The lender will not finance personal things.
- If the buyer is paying cash then it really does not matter if the furniture is part of the home purchase package or not. For the buyer it is all the same cost of property acquisition.
Sellers sometimes include all the furniture in the list price and sometimes they want to sell it separately. Regardless, it is up to the home buyer to decide if they want the furniture or not and if so, how they wish to pay for it.
