Vista Lakes is a community in Southeast Orlando just north of Lake Nona between Highway 15 and Highway 417. Vista Lakes has about 14 micro-neighborhoods within the major community. 11 of these communities feature single-family homes and to have condominium complexes. Horizons and Central Park condominium complexes and Gentry Park is a townhouse community. There are approximately 2200 properties in Vista Lakes including 414 condominiums and 240 townhomes.
Central Park and Horizons feature their own swimming pool and clubhouse areas but the rest of the community is free to use the Vista Lakes clubhouse and community swimming pool. All residents have access to parks, trails, and social calendar events. Central Park, Gentry Park, and horizons have their own homeowners associations in which each resident is a part of an pays into. All the other single-family home neighborhoods pay into one Vista Lakes Association.

There are two lighted tennis courts that may be reserved at the pool office. Tennis lessons have priority. The Amherst Park is one of the largest parks on the Chickasaw trail. It features basketball courts, a Little League softball baseball diamond, and a soccer field. It is shared with the Vista Lakes elementary school. The Vista Lake Park features a small green space, playground and boat dock there’s also a small park on Milford Haven Place in Newport. There are a variety of pavilions around the residence club that may be used and rented for private events.
There are approximately 4700 residents in Vista Lakes and 75% are homeowners. People love the area for its clean and well-maintained community, dog-friendly parks and trails, quiet lakes, and serene environment.
Homes range from about $300,000-$700,000 based on size, condition and lot size. Homes are typically 3 to 5 bedrooms, 2 to 5 bathrooms, and between 2500 ft.² and 3500 ft.². Many homes have backyard swimming pools and outdoor entertainment space. Several homes are lakefront as well and have unobstructed views of Vista Lake.
Vista Lakes is part of the Orange County school district and residents typically attend the Vista Lakes Elementary school, the Odyssey middle school, and the Colonial high school. Residents also have the option of attending the Cornerstone Academy K – 8 and the Cornerstone Charter high school.
