Kissimmee

untitled-13

Kissimmee is south of Orlando, located, in Osceola County. Kissimmee is home to Walt Disney World, the backdrop to tourist attractions. With 150 hotels it is the number one tourist attraction city.

Residential growth is fast growing, and will continue as newcomers seek the open spaces the city offers. Both residential and commercial growth is growing around Osceola Parkway, with more is coming.

A 1,600-acre parcel of ranch land is being developed to build 4,000 homes over the next 15 years. Other plans include developing a 7,000 home community north of Lake Tohopekaliga, known locally as Lake Toho and the best fishing around.

To maintain history, Kissimmee’s Community Redevelopment Agency has actively sought to improve the historic downtown district. They created a cowboy-themed arched gateway at Main Street and U.S. 192, along with several streetscapes. There are several golf course communities such as Remington Golf Club, Kissimmee Bay Country Club, The Oaks. There is also Solivita for those 55 and older that are looking for an active lifestyle. For lakefront living try the new homes at Bellalago.
